Camping Rules for Responsible Camping Habits

Our singular objective at Camelot Campground is to ensure that you and your family have a stellar time each time you visit. While we strive to make sure this happens, we also need you to work with us to ensure the experience remains positive for you and everybody else. 

Our camping site has certain rules and regulations in place, respect to our campground and pool, that we request and expect all our guests to follow.

Camping Rules:

Golden Rule: “When coming to Camelot Campground be prepared to have as much fun as possible, just don’t take away fun from others.”

Visitors: All visitors MUST stop at office to check in. There is a $4.00 visitor fee per person.

Peace: Quiet time is 11:00p.m. All children must be on their lot by this time and all radios, loud noises, etc. must be muted.

Alcohol: All alcoholic beverages must be covered while walking within the park

Speed: Slow, very slow. Less than 5 MPH is the speed limit.

Garbage: All garbage is to be placed in a bag and disposed of in the dumpster.

Pets: Your pets are welcomed. They are to be leashed and cleaned up after. Pets are never to be left unsupervised.

Trees: There is no cutting, transplanting, nailing, or screwing anything into the trees.

Walking Easement: Use roads and trails for walking. Do not walk through another’s lot.

Fire Pits: All Charcoal ash is to be contained in fire pit. Do not leave hot ashes unattended. Proper campfire etiquette is expected at all times. Use common sense with flame height.

Swimming Pool: There are no glass containers allowed by the pool. All children are to be supervised by an adult. Follow the rules posted in pool area. Anyone not following the pool rules are subject to loosing pool privileges. The pool hours are same as store hours. (All rules apply to the beach area.)

Children: Parents are responsible for their children and any damage that their children may cause in the park.

Pool Rules:

  • All children must be supervised by a parent or guardian.
  • Must be 18 to swim alone. We will ID.
  • No eating or drinking in pool area.
  • No smoking in pool area.
  • No jumping, running, horse playing, diving, cannon balling or rough housing in the pool area.
  • Pool hours are the same as office hours.

 ***Anyone not following the pool rules are subject to losing their pool privileges***
